COMPANY HISTORY AND MISSION

Buchanan Roofing & Guttering, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Waylon Buchanan. We began as a small roofing subcontractor doing a variety of residential roofing and gutter jobs in the Fayetteville area. As our reputation for honesty, quality workmanship, and on time completions grew, so did the business. Gradually small jobs at Fort Bragg and Pope AFB grew into major contracts. We expanded into metal roofing and metal fabrication. We have moved several times, each time to a larger warehouse/office to accommodate more equipment, material and personnel.

We have been in the current facility since November 1996. That year also marked the largest awards for roofing work in our history. These contracts run for three years and include approximately 150 buildings in the Ft. Bragg/Pope AFB complex. In addition, we are bidding and have received major commercial contracts for work within a seventy-five mile radius of Fayetteville .

We have recently opened an office in the Hampstead Area. We service the Wilmington area through this office.
